Frames are included in the price of the various artworks I make, however, if you do not wish to have a frame, the artwork is still the same price. This is simply a courtesy I provide and can change in the future. I hand make most frames with rough oak from local sawmills and mill it to shape myself. If you wish to have a frame made of another wood that can be arranged, but there will be an extra charge in that case, which we will work out in our post sale conversations.
I can leave your frame unfinished if you want to finish it yourself to match where you want to hang it. Finished frames can be left unstained, but clear coated which does darken the wood to a warmer look than unfinished. I can also stain the frame with a semi-transparent golden pecan, golden oak, walnut, ebony, blue, or a slightly more opaque redwood color followed by a clear coat. Shown are pictures of how these generally turn out, though it can vary somewhat from piece to piece depending on the wood. If you have a particular color stain in mind that I haven't listed, send me a message and we can make that happen.
When you decide on the frame style you want, add it to the cart along with your selected artwork. If you order more than one artwork, I will follow up with you to clarify which frames go with which artwork.
