   River Mist Wind Works is a one man shop that grew out of my hobbies of wind chime making and laser engraved artwork. I can create custom wind chimes tuned to just about any desired song or tune. Generally speaking, they are all large, compared to what you would find most places. My most popular voices are Alto and Mezzo, with an occasional Tenor. I do the smaller Supranos but don't get many requests for that size. I can also tune to different temperaments, such as Renolds I, 19-TET (featured in Oriental music) in addition to Western 12-TET. For example, one commonly requested set is the Westminster Abbey Bell chimes. I tune mine to the frequencies used at the time of the Abbey's bells creation (Renolds I) rather than 12-TET used today. Wind sails are custom engraved as desired as well.

   I also do custom laser engravings of river maps, lakes, or any requested land area, with various levels of detail, from just the waterways and major landmarks/accesses up to topological detail. Paddles, due to limited engraving area, are limited to relatively simple mappings. I can highlight the rivers and lakes using laser melted blue powder-coat, as well as highlight other features like Hiking Trails in other colors. I also engrave area attractions like old mills and such. Sizes can range from 8 x 12 inches up to my laser bed max of 32 x 44 inches. I can do personal photographs you submit, though they do need to be of a sufficient resolution and clarity to come out well. Other things I have done include restaurant tables, pistol grips, gun stocks, military, LEO, EMS, Fire Services, and other wall plaques.

   River Mist Wind Works is located near Doniphan, MO next to the beautiful Current and Eleven Point Rivers which are the inspiration for the name.
